TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

These general terms and conditions of sale define the terms and conditions and commitments relating to the purchase of products on the www.goat-wheels.com website. Please read them carefully before ordering.

The structure of this site and all the elements it contains are the exclusive property of GOAT Wheels. Any reproduction, extraction or representation, in whole or in part, of the site or of any of its components, for any reason whatsoever and in any form whatsoever, is prohibited, as is any alteration, modification, adaptation or use in any way whatsoever.

Article 1: Purpose.

The purpose of these general terms and conditions of sale is to define the contractual relationship between GOAT Wheels and the buyer and the conditions applicable to all purchases made through the www.goat-wheels.com website.

The acquisition of a product through this site implies unreserved acceptance by the buyer of these conditions of sale, which the buyer acknowledges having read prior to ordering.

No general or specific condition appearing in documents sent or delivered by the purchaser may be incorporated herein, insofar as such documents are incompatible with these general conditions.

GOAT Wheels reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions of sale at any time, in order to comply with any new regulations or in order to improve the use of this site. As a result, the applicable conditions will be those in force at the time the order is placed by the purchaser.

Article 2: Products.

The products governed by these terms and conditions of sale are those shown on the www.goat-wheels.com website. Products other than those shown may be offered at the customer’s request.

Each product is presented on the website in the form of a description of its main technical characteristics.

The weights given on the site are for guidance only and may vary slightly.

In addition, the buyer must ensure that the wheels are correctly fitted, that the brakes are working properly… If the buyer is not qualified to fit the wheels or check the assembly, he should call on the services of a professional experienced in the field of bicycles.

Article 3 : Ordering | Terms and Conditions

The automatic registration systems on the www.goat-wheels.com website are considered as proof of the nature, content and date of the order.

The validation of the order will be confirmed to the buyer by means of an email. The sale will only be concluded upon confirmation of the order, i.e. receipt of the email by the purchaser.

GOAT Wheels reserves the right to cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute concerning the payment of a previous order.

The information provided by the purchaser at the time of ordering is binding. In the event of an error in the recipient’s contact details, GOAT Wheels cannot be held responsible for the impossibility of delivering the product.

Article 4: Product availability.

The order will be carried out as soon as possible, starting on the day after the buyer places the order. In the event of unavailability of the product ordered, notably due to suppliers, the purchaser will be informed as soon as possible and will have the option of cancelling the order.

The buyer may either request a refund of the sums paid, or exchange the product.

Article 5 : Delivery | Terms and conditions of sale

Products are delivered to the address indicated by the purchaser at the time of the order. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check the condition of the packaging upon delivery and to report any damage to the carrier on the delivery slip, as well as to GOAT Wheels by e-mail within 48 hours of delivery.

Any complaint of non-conformity of the products in kind or in quality compared to the indications appearing on the summary of order will also have to be formulated near the company GOAT Wheels, by email, within 48 hours following the delivery.

The buyer must allow the seller every facility to ascertain any anomalies and must refrain from intervening himself or having a third party intervene for this purpose.

If items need to be returned, a return request must be made to the seller within the same timeframe. After this deadline, any claim of any nature whatsoever will be considered inadmissible.

For orders of โ‚ฌ75 or more to Metropolitan France, European Union member states, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Norway, GOAT Wheels will pay the shipping costs. For all other orders or destinations, shipping costs are 130โ‚ฌ. In the event of a return, the buyer is responsible for return and reshipment costs.

For deliveries outside mainland France, the customer undertakes to pay all import taxes, customs duties, value-added tax and any other taxes due under the laws of the country in which the order is received.

Delivery times are always subject to availability at the time of quotation and are given as an indication only.

Any delay in delivery due to circumstances beyond the seller’s control shall not result in cancellation of the order. The seller may not be held liable for any prejudice resulting from this delay.

Article 6: Withdrawal.

In accordance with article L121-20 of the French Consumer Code, the buyer has a period of 14 working days to return, at his or her own expense, any products that do not suit him or her. This period runs from the day of delivery of the order. All returns must be notified in advance to GOAT Wheels. The product must be returned by registered parcel post to the GOAT Wheels head office.

Only products returned in their original packaging, complete and undamaged, in new, unused condition, will be accepted. Any product that has been damaged, or whose original packaging has been damaged, will not be refunded or exchanged. Refunds are due within 15 days of receipt of the product.

In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, the purchaser has the choice of requesting either a refund of the sums paid, or an exchange of the product. In the case of an exchange, reshipment will be at the purchaser’s expense.

In the case of a product designed according to specifications or customized, in accordance with article L.121-21-8 of the French Consumer Code, it may not be taken back, in particular non-catalog, custom-made wheels.

Article 7 : Prices | Terms and Conditions

Prices are given in euros and include all taxes at the rate applicable at the time of payment. They do not systematically include processing and shipping costs, the amount of which is invoiced in addition and indicated at the time of final validation of the order.

Prices displayed on the site are subject to manifest error. In the event of such an error, the seller undertakes to contact the buyer as soon as possible to inform him or her and offer to make good the difference or cancel the order if he or she so wishes.

Prices are subject to change at any time of the year.

Article 8: Payment.

Payment can be made by credit card, Paypal, Apple Pay, Google Pay.

Whatever the method of payment agreed between the parties, payment will only be deemed to have been made once the price has been effectively collected.

In the event of refusal of payment by the banking services, the order is automatically cancelled and the customer is informed by email. Furthermore, GOAT Wheels reserves the right to cancel any order from a customer with whom there is a dispute.

In the event of non-payment of an invoice, collection costs will be passed on to the customer.

GOAT Wheels retains full ownership of the products sold until full payment has been received, in principal, costs and taxes included.

Article 9 : Warranty | Terms and Conditions

All products sold on this site benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (L211-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).

GOAT Wheels offers a commercial warranty on all its wheel components for a period of three 3 years from the product invoice date.

The warranty is valid exclusively for the first purchaser with an order or invoice number. The warranty expires in the event of resale.

Before any return, the buyer must contact GOAT Wheels via our contact form available on our website.

No product will be accepted without prior validation.

The cost of returning the goods to our company and the cost of returning the goods to the purchaser’s home address shall be borne by the purchaser.

Warranty exclusions :

The seller will refuse any damaged item that has not been the subject of remarks or reservations by the customer upon delivery.

The warranty does not apply if the products have been transformed or modified.

The warranty applies only in the event of normal use and excludes, in particular, any damage, prejudice or, more generally, any direct or indirect consequence resulting from improper use or non-compliance with operating instructions, lack of maintenance or improper use of the product.

In particular, it excludes all defects resulting from impact, accident or fall.

Any improper use, such as over-inflating tires (risk of explosion and rim deformation) or overheating brake tracks due to improper use, is not covered by the warranty.

Also excluded from the warranty are any direct or indirect consequences resulting from the defects described above.

Warranty coverage :

To activate the warranty, the purchaser must contact the seller by e-mail or telephone, and with the seller’s agreement, return the product.

The customer is responsible for the quality of the packaging, any insurance and the cost of transport. He/she must enclose the purchase invoice and contact details.

Important: the customer must return the wheel without tire, tube, cassette or disc.

The seller will examine the product and, depending on the result, may offer the buyer :

– in the event of a manufacturing defect, repair or replacement of the product or part thereof

– in the absence of a manufacturing defect, repair or replacement at the purchaser’s expense

Article 10 : Satisfaction Guarantee | Terms and Conditions of Sale

GOAT Wheels offers its customers a “Satisfied or your money back” guarantee covering a period of 7 calendar days from receipt of the eligible product ordered. Only wheel models in the catalog available online at www.goat-wheels.com and bearing the “Satisfaction Guaranteed” badge are eligible for this program. Components such as tires, tubes, cassettes and discs are not covered by this warranty.

If you are not completely satisfied with your wheels, you have 7 calendar days from the day you receive your order to request a return and refund via our contact form.

Once the request has been taken into account, the customer must return the entire order clean, intact and protected in its original packaging, according to the instructions received beforehand, within 7 days. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs, as well as any customs duties and import taxes (for countries outside the European Union).

Refunds are issued in the same way as the original payment.

Refunds may take up to 15 days to process after receipt of the items at our warehouse and verification by us.

GOAT Wheels reserves the right to refuse any application of the present warranty in the event of damage to the equipment or failure to comply with the application instructions.

Article 11: Crash Replacement program.

For products damaged outside their intended use, such as damage sustained in transit, a fall or misuse, GOAT Wheels offers the eligible owner the benefit of the “Crash Replacement” program to replace (30% off new on the same or equivalent product) or repair the product at a reduced cost. This program potentially applies to all our models, but only to the original owner in possession of the original purchase invoice less than 3 years old.

Article 12: Liability.

The products offered by GOAT Wheels comply with current French legislation.

The company may not be held liable in the event of non-performance of its obligations being attributable either to an unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party, or to a case of force majeure.

The following are expressly considered to be cases of force majeure, in addition to those usually accepted by the jurisprudence of French courts and tribunals: blockage of means of transport or supply, earthquakes, fires, storms, floods, lightning; stoppage of telecommunication networks or difficulties specific to telecommunication networks external to customers.

Likewise, the Vendor may not be held liable for any inconvenience or damage inherent in the use of the Internet, in particular a break in service, external intrusion or the presence of computer viruses.

The photos shown on the site are not contractual.

Article 13: Personal data.

GOAT Wheels undertakes to preserve the confidentiality of information provided by the purchaser.

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, consumers have the right to access and rectify any personal information concerning them. They may exercise this right by sending an e-mail to: contact@goat-wheels.com

Article 14: Applicable Law.

These terms and conditions of sale are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute or claim, the purchaser should first contact GOAT Wheels for an amicable solution.
